I cannot believe people are actually out in public supporting her! I would be terrified that some of my friends or family would recognise me. I mean...I know Ms Hanson has supporters...but it fascinates me whenever I actually see it.

Someone below talked about reading text books to get the real story. Even those seem not to tell us what we need to know, probably because the truth is not even recorded in Australia's historical records. This nation is still in denial, thanks to the government and general ignorance. I do not know how to combat this ignorance, which seems to permeate our society at every level. Most people do not seem to realise that in this country, genocide was committed. The Aborigines are the victims of a very real genocide which is never compared with the likes of Nazi Germany or Stalinist Russia, and is never recognised for what it is anyway.

Sometimes I am really ashamed of being Australian.

Now usually I'd submit a large and quite extended aurgument, however
judging by the write ins by the Hanson supporters, I'm not going to
bother. Let me say to you all, that you should review history, not
throught the eyes of you racist family and party propoganda, but
through REAL history books which show the mal-treatment of Aborigines
through the
ages.

Well, well , well!! This site seems to have generated a lot of emotion...
I find the site amusing enough to forward the address to several of my
friends and certainly not offensive enough to feel the need to get on my
high horse and write semi-incoherent, poorly spelt and grammatically
appalling twaddle! For those who find the site so terribly offensive....
why the heck read through it in the first place?? It is fairly obvious that
it is not going to be pro-Hanson so spare yourselves the moral outrage and
go somewhere else! As a first generation Australian of Indian and New
Zealand parentage, with a Greek husband, a Cambodian brother-in-law, many
Koori friends, and as a teacher in a VERY multicultural primary school, I
find the views of One Nation frighteningly simplistic and appealing only to
the lowest common denominator in our society; those people who are
constantly looking for someone else to blame for the ills of the world.
Hanson supporters may consider themselves educated but again and again they
express opinions that can only be the result of a very narrow viewpoint.
Truly educated people should be able to look at the wider picture. Hopefully
the voters of Victoria, at least, will continue to be unimpressed by the
antics of a party who could even stoop to using the tragedy of Port Arthur
for political mileage and who have a highly dubious reputation when it comes
to financial (mis)management. We already have quite enough clowns in our
political 3 ringed circus without them!

Well after visiting your website for both the first and last time, one can only aline the words narrow-minded, unAustralian and totally fucked to this site.

It is without doubt that this site has been established by some radical fringe idealists, bored arts students at uni and or select pissed off elements of the minority groups mentioned on your site.

Funny thing about people like yourselves, you demand the right to free speach and to express your radical, bleeding heart, anti-mainstream society and politically correct points of view...however totally denegrate and prevent others such as Pauline Hanson for doing likewize. Does the word hipocritical mean anything to you small minded bigots ?
