The atrocities of the 2nd world war are rightly condemned, together with the evil doctrine which was the catalyst for such destruction.
However, in today's society we are confronted with another doctrine, of which is just as evil and calculating, and also has ideas of global domination; I am speaking of Islam.
The question must be asked. Why is Nazism condemned and Islam not? The fundamental difference is Hitler did not state his messages came from a higher being unlike Mohammad. Does this mean if Hitler had turned Nazism into a religion we as a society would tolerate it?
In today's society the left will defend religious freedom without question or reservation, no matter how evil the doctrine. This is absurd. We should have freedom of religion, but not at the expense of accommodating a faith which calls for the destruction of our values and beliefs.
It is time for consideration to be given to halting Islamic immigration to Australia if we are to ensure a peaceful existence into the future

Dear Pauline Hanson,
You are so honest that people are afraid of you. We know you are not racist, just truthful.
We are in danger of becoming not only an Asian country but now a Muslim country, I believe that unless someone like you and hopefully it will be you, take control of our country my childrens children will be raised as Muslims.
Aussies are so unpatriotic it is scary and Muslims are so fervent they will get a grip in our political arena and implement their ways and the typical Aussie will sit back and let them.
I live in an Aboriginal area in Far North Queensland and they get everything handed to them on a plate, they don't even have to send thier children to school if they don't want, I have the education department down on me if my child misses more than a few days of school each year.
They trash everything they have, even other peoples homes they rent. I am not an Aboriginal basher either, my childrens friends are Aboriginal or half Aboriginal.
They have become lazy because they don't have to do anything. In answer to someones question: I do remember Pauline going to that Aboriginal community and asking why, if they care so much for their land, why do they live in filth like that.
It was great that she showed that. Please Pauline, save us from ourselves. Keep the Aussie spirit alive and we will support you, even more now than ever.
PS: In reading some of the letters in this column attacking you, the vulgar language they use shows how stupid and scared of you they are, ignore these vicious and obviously rude and uninformed morons. ie: "Go *%$# yourselves with barbed wire"......really.

There is no doubt that Winnie is an incredibly influential woman.
Can she use that powerful influence to make people understand in no uncertain terms that raping babies and young girls is wrong and will not cure AIDS as many believe. It has become common in SA to hear of such atrocities and it needs to be addressed ASAP.
Can she offer the HIV infected some hope and some idea of where to go for help? The people need someone with her influence to point them in the right direction and warn them away from terrible actions such as rape.

I live in Hornsby Heights NSW. I am a mother of two grown up daughters and I would like to talk about the water shortage.
I think that Pauline would be the only one in Parliament that would listen. we are thinking of desalination which is going to cost millions. what about the water that runs down the drains every time it rains in Sydney and other places that is still getting good rainfall.
Why can't we harness the storm water. This only runs into the sea, then it is proposed that we get it out again and desalinate it at extra cost.
Can't the water be piped back to our dams, then treated the same as our rainfall. I have a 9,000 litre rainwater tank, and it never empty.
We only use it for watering and washing our vehicles, and. Our garden is very green. there are a lot of people out there that do not have tanks, and their water is being wasted, straight down the drain.
Pauline! Do something about it. Please
