Chengdu Hazardous Waste Disposal Center, built and managed by Xingrong Environmental Protection Technology, is included in construction projects stated in the National Plan for Construction of Facilities for Disposal of Hazardous and Medical Wastes and also one of key environmental protection projects in Chengdu City and even Sichuan Province. Situated in Liyu Village, Wanxing Township, Longquanyi District, the project covers a total area of 274 mu, with gross investment about RMB 300 million. Each year, it is capable of disposing 34,000 tons of hazardous waste from 19 cities and prefectures excepting Panzhihua and Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan, with waste types up to 31. Commenced in December 2012, Chengdu Xingrong Hazardous Waste Treatment Co., Ltd. was put into service in December 2014 and renamed Chengdu Xingrong Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. in March 2016.
