about Cheryl Updated 26 July 2002 What a pathetic, deceitful & hypocritical person you are Ms Kernot. You should be more concerned with giving your partner, children, friends & colleagues (if they matter to you) the courtesy of being honest about your life. Instead you feel you have been ambushed by Laurie Oaks not giving you the opportunity to deny your grossly irresponsible behaviour. & what right do I have to speak of you like this? I am but a mere male who was involved in affair myself, but unlike you I admitted my wrongs to my partner, friends & colleagues & allowed them to judge me as they saw fit. Sadly my marriage is no longer & nor are many friends still by me, but at least I still have my own dignity - do you? It appears your personal life is no different to that of your political career, where your failings have all been someone else's fault. When are you going to take responsibilities for your actions? We can always reclaim our innocence, for whatever we have done in the past, tomorrow brings a new day with limitless capacity for a new beginning - I hope at some point in your life you realise this. LJS - Sydney Dear Cheryl Virginia
Gow, Dear Cheryl, Stop blaming others for your deceit, hypocrisy and irrational behaviour. Australian women who care for their families, work hard for little pay and endure menopause without complaint are sick of your constant whining. Find a rock and crawl under it. C Crothers I feel
for Cheryl as she is being hung out to dry for making an error of judgement.
I seem to recall, in situations like this, of the man I follow once
saying "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." Cheryl is fully entitled to her private life including romance and a healthy active sex life and its no business of anyone else What Mr Evans did or chose not to do is a matter between him and his wife and Simon Crean needs to re-assess the circumstances and the impact if any on the party from the statement made by Gareth Evans to Parliament. I'm not
condoning it only that the road to hell is sometimes paved with good
intentions and people make mistakes. This was not for the public record
and the journos should have respected that try garreth evans Cheryl was having an affairs with Gareth Evans I would like to say that as far as I and many other Australians are concerned Cheryl is now a private person and her private life is just that. She has nothing to explain to anyone. Please pass this on to Cheryl with my kindest regards. Simon Crean needs to mind his own business. EP, Perth |
